This is a great Website. I'm really glad to see COGIC churches do something nice. Some COGIC churches in the Dallas area do not even have Websites. This is very nice and well put together. |

Congratulations to Jones Valley. What a wonderful website. I really miss the Mineola District of ole, the countless hours in the Valley with the music and youth ministries and just hangin' out with good people. I always enjoy knowing the history behind a church--and what a story! I pray that God will continue to dwell in the Valley and that His Spirit will direct you in all things. Praise the Lord from whom all blessings flow. I am a member of Mt. Moriah B.C. in Daingerfield TX where my pastor is Pastor Bertrain "Choo-Choo" Bailey. I am not Baptist but I am the musician. My father, Bishop Petty Horton and Pastor of Guiding Light Church used to be affiliated with the COGIC. I was at the District meeting on last week and I enjoyed myself. As a matter of fact I think I am on camera because some friends told me when I was praising God I went to the front of the church and up and down the aisle. All I remember is being outside when the Holyghost got through with me. But I plan on visiting more and more. Keep me in your prayers that I finish college and do what God wants me to do.
